Chase Joseph Craig and Lauren Leigh Straub were married Jan. 1, 2012, at the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota, Fla.

The groom is the son of Charles Craig of Verbena and Sheri Craig of Clanton.

He is the grandson of the late Claud Craig and Eleanor Craig of Clanton, Polly Downing and the late Wilton Downing, also of Clanton.

The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Harry Lipscomb, and family.

Following a honeymoon in Italy, the couple plans to return to Rutgers School of Law in New Jersey where they will graduate in May.
