Smiths celebrate 50 years

Bonny and Mary Mell Smith celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Nov, 27 with a reception given by their children and grandchildren at First Baptist Church Clanton.

They were married on Nov. 23, 1961. They have three children: Kendall Smith, Chris (Shellie) Smith and Kyle (Stephanie) Smith; and nine grandchildren: Haleigh (Teddy) Barrera, Emily Smith, Jacob Smith, Phillip Smith, Jackson Smith, Anna Smith, Harrison Smith, Sam Smith and Mary Grace Smith.
