Sylvester Robinson, 90, of Jemison died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011.

He was born Friday, June 24, 1921, in Alabama, son of the late Jim Robinson and the late Rodann Hubbard Robinson.

He was a steel worker.

Surviving are his four sons, Junior (Quida) Robinson of Jemison, Marvin (Joan) Robinson of Jemison, Jerry (Judy) Robinson of Jemison and Terry (Lynn) Robinson of Jemison, AL; twin sister, Poly Watley of Jemison; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Robinson; granddaughter, Cindy Robinson; and 12 brothers and sisters.

Services will be held Friday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. at Pates Chapel Baptist with the Rev. Randall Mims officiating.

Interment will follow in Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Jemison.
