Todd and Tammy White of Maplesville are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Nicole White, to Jordan Clay Smith, son of Phillip and Kathy Smith of Jemison.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jim and Ann Latham, Patricia Strength, and Oneal and Anne White.

She is a 2007 graduate of Maplesville High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Montevallo. She is currently employed as a teacher at Meadowview Public Elementary School.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Edna Brasher, the late Junior Brasher, the late James Moody and Kitty Sue Smith.

He is a 2004 graduate of Jemison High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Montevallo. He is currently employed as a conductor with Norfolk Southern.

The wedding will take place Nov. 19 at 4 p.m. at Maplesville Baptist Church. All friends and family are invited.
