Lacy Nicole Arant of Verbena and Eric Henry Davenport of Clanton are happy to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mark and Valerie Arant of Verbena. She is the granddaughter of Helen Burks and the late R.E. Burks, the late Shirley Arant and the late Ray Arant. She is a graduate of Daysprings Academy.

The prospective groom is the son of Pete and the late Debbie Davenport of Clanton. He is the grandson of the late John Patterson, and the late Frank McCartney and Shirley McCartney. He is a graduate of Isabella High School.

The wedding is set for Nov. 5, 2011, at Chestnut Creek Baptist Church at 4 p.m.
