Mae Willie Crew, 84,  of Clanton died Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.

She was born on  Friday, June 3, 1927, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Willie Jones and the late Alice Glenn Jones.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her daughter, Cheryl Broome of Clanton; son, Roger (Sherry) Crew of Trussville; three grandsons, Richie Crew of Trussville, Nathan (Kristen) Crew of Wake Forest, N.C., and Alan (Tracy) Broome of Gadsden; granddaughter, Heather (Justin) Lett of Nashville, Tenn.; brother, Dwight (Bonnie) Jones of Cooper; six great-grandchildren, Bailey, Cameron and Kylie Broome; and Gabe, Canon and Hadley Lett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Crew.

Friends were received from  5-8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 17 at West End Baptist Church.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18 at West End Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Lightsey officiating.

Interment followed in Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
