Specialist Ronald and Holley Echols of Verbena are proud to announce the birth of their son, Aaron James Echols.

Echols was born Sept. 22, 2011, at 3:51 p.m. at Shelby Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces and measured 21 inches long.

His grandparents are James and Sharon Echols and Sam and Cathy Blackmon, all of Verbena. He has two great grandmothers, Jimmie Meliska and Glenda Pate Mims, that give lots of hugs and kisses.

The family wished to thank their family members, church family at Chestnut Creek Baptist Church and friends for the wonderful “Baby Aaron” shower. They also expressed thanks for the prayers, love and support shows while Ronnie is currently serving overseas.
