Cobb-Bright

Chuck and Diane Calloway of Jemison are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Allison Nicole Cobb, to Blake Anthony Bright, son of Dale and Christie Bright of Cullman.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the late J.L. (Zeke) Cobb. She is the granddaughter of Robert and Connie Isbell, Margie Cobb and the late J.O. Cobb, and Melba Calloway and the late Charles Calloway Sr.

She is a 2006 graduate of Jemison High School and graduated from Auburn University in December 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. She is currently employed with Alabama Power as a protection and control field service test engineer.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Roger and Wrenda Humphrey, John and Martha Hasenbein, and Evelyn Bright and the late Hyrom Bright.

He is a 2006 graduate of Cullman High School and will graduate from Auburn University in December 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He will begin working with Alabama Power Company in January 2012 as a transmission maintenance support engineer.

The wedding will take place Saturday, Oct. 1 in Birmingham. After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Gardendale.
