Kassie Byrd of Jemison and Cody Browning of Pelham are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Shane and Kim Robinson, and Terry and Jennifer Byrd. She is the granddaughter of Jimmy and Norma Martin, and Don and Shirley Byrd.
She is a Chilton County High School graduate.

The prospective groom is the son of Dianne Browning and the late “Big” Doug Browning. He is the grandson of the late Mark and Velma Leach, and the late Ivan and Doris Browning.
He is a Pelham High School graduate.

The wedding will be Aug. 13, 2011, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church No. 1 in Jemison at 7 p.m.

The maid of honor will be Kamber Byrd, and the best man will be Bill Price. Lexie Hayes will serve as flower girl.
