Ann Robinson and Kevin Hecker are happy to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Dian Baker and Jerry Wayne Robinson of Clanton, and granddaughter of the late Charles W. Robinson and Joann Robinson of Clanton, the late Vesker Robinson, the late Maggie Lucille Robinson, and the late William Fred Shelton of Blountsville.

She is a 1996 graduate of Jemison High School and earned a master’s in business administration from the University of Alabama Birmingham. She is currently employed at Morgan Keegan.

The prospective groom is the son of Keith and Sharon Hecker of Willard, Ohio, and grandson of Helen Hecker and the late Leroy Hecker, and the late Ben and Betty Harris of Johnstown, Pa.

He is a 1995 graduate of Willard High School and is currently employed by the United States Navy.

The wedding is set for Sept. 30. Invitations will be sent.
