Carolyn Cox Jones, 80, of Billingsley died Monday, July 11, 2011, in Montgomery after an extended illness.

She was born Tuesday, Aug. 26, 1930, in Autauga County, daughter of the late J. L. Cox and the late Anna McDonald Cox of White City.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are daughter, Rebecca Charlene Jones of Billingsley; son, Charles David (Jan) Jones of Billingsley; grandson, William Charles (Margaret) Jones of Braselton, Ga.; granddaughter, Shay Jones (Jeff) Runion of Woodstock, Ga.; great granddaughter, Parker Anne Jones of Braselton, Ga.; three great grandsons, William Charles Jones Jr. of Braselton, Ga.; Jeffery Zeb Runion of Woodstock, Ga. and David Eason Runion of Woodstock, Ga.; and two sisters-in-law, Daisy Cox of Billingsley and Frances Cox of Billingsley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wilson Jones.

Services will be held Saturday, July 16 at  2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church with the Rev. Doug Orr and the Rev. Steve Reneau officiating.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Methodist Cemetery in Billingsley.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Pleasant Hill Methodist Church.
