Eugene Kelly Mattingly

Eugene Kelly Mattingly, 92, of Verbena died Monday, June 27, 2011, at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City.

He was born Sunday, Sept. 8, 1918, in Springfield, Ky., son of the late George Alfred Mattingly and the late Kathleen Campbell Mattingly.

He was a manager.

Surviving are two sons, George K. (Undyne) Mattingly of Verbena and John Alfred (Barbara) Mattingly of Melbourne, Fla.; grandsons, David (Greta), Paul (Cindy), John (Laura) and Scott (Marie) Mattingly; and great-grandson, Curtis Mattingly.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 29 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Brad Burns officiating.

No flowers; donations may be made to Mt. Creek Baptist Church in Marbury.
