Amy Elizabeth Bates of Prattville and Robert Stacy Mills of Booth are happy to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Bates-Mills

The bride-elect is the daughter of Bonnie Scott Bates and the late John David Bates, and the granddaughter of Charles and Betty Scott, Billie L. Bates and the late John Ed Bates. She is a graduate of Prattville High School.

The prospective groom is the son of Norman and Agnes Mills, and the grandson of the late Carter and Rebecca Mills and the late Alf and Ruth Wadsworth. He is a graduate of Prattville High School.

The wedding is planned for June 25 at 3 p.m. in Booth.

Bridal attendants will be Daon Johnson, Cyndi Dennis and Tracy Mills.

The groom’s attendants will be Brian Dennis, Stephen Barber, Brian Whearington and Ray Womack.

The bride will have red roses, and bridesmaids will have white roses. Dresses will be sleeveless and apple in color.

The couple will reside in Booth.
