Gillilands celebrate 50th anniversary

Jerry and Mary Joyce Gilliland are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. He is the son of the late Stell and Arah Gilliland, and she is the daughter of the late Raymond and Flora Gore.

The couple was married on June 16, 1961, at the bride’s home in Clanton. They have a daughter, Diane (Larry) Handley, and a son, Kent Gilliland. They are also the proud grandparents of Jessica Gilliland, Laura Handley and Ben Handley.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate with the couple on June 12 at Walnut Creek Church from 2-4 p.m. Please no gifts; bring special memories and your love to share with the couple.
