New store opening in Clanton

A new face in the Clanton business community looks to open up shop soon.

Farmers Home Furniture will soon host a grand opening celebration at its new Clanton store. The store, located at 302 Park Plaza near Fred’s, will open Thursday, April 14.

The store will be part of the Farmers Home Furniture chain, which includes 168 other stores across Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia, where the company was founded and is was based.

The public is encouraged to attend the grand opening, which starts at 10 a.m. on April 14, and stay for tours afterward. For more information, call the new location at 755-9989.
