The Chilton County Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon on Tuesday, Jan. 25 for people interested in becoming a Chamber Ambassador.

The Chamber is looking for between 20 and 25 members of the community to serve as official hosts for events such as ribbon cuttings, business after hours and luncheons. Ambassadors will also recruit new Chamber members by providing qualified leads to the staff and influencing member retention by maintaining open communication between the Chamber and its members.

Becoming an ambassador will provide numerous benefits including: the opportunity to make valuable business contacts, publicity for you and/or your business, recognition in Chamber publications and at Chamber events, visibility in the community and an opportunity to serve the community.

Chamber Ambassadors are basically the arms, eyes, ears and voice of the Chamber and are critical to its success.
The event will be held at Shoney’s restaurant in Clanton at 11:30 a.m. on the aforementioned date.

Those interested are encouraged to contact the Chamber at 755-2400.
