First week has been a pleasure

Hello, Clanton! I am Theadoris Marche’ Morris, the newest reporter on the editorial staff here at The Clanton Advertiser. I hail from West Blocton in Bibb County but moved to Birmingham when I was 12 years old. I love the city life, but you can’t take the country out of the girl.

I am very family oriented, down-to-earth and results-driven, and I love to laugh.

I recently graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!) with a degree in journalism and a minor in dance.

I chose to become a journalist because I enjoy everything about it: the writing, the interviewing, the photography, being out in the field and going on assignments and, most importantly, informing the masses.

This was my first week here, and so far it has been a pleasure.

I would like to thank everyone I have met so far for their kindness, and I am looking forward to meeting and working with everyone here.

I am very excited to be a part of Chilton County and hope Clanton and the surrounding towns welcome me with open arms and a warm embrace as I do the same in return.
